The world more open to the influence of globalization, the role of the state to control the various activities of life are not as tight as before. People are increasingly free to express and perform beyond boundaries. Anywhere and anytime.

Long before Indonesian independence in 1945. The young men gathered to swear to a sense of nationalism as a nation until Indonesia will not fade any time. All the youth organizations are invited and gathered and vowed in October 28, 1928, are:

First:

Our sons and daughters of Indonesia, admitted that one slaughterous, Indonesia homeland.

Our sons and daughters of Indonesia, admitted that one of the nation, the Indonesian nation.

This oath binds so strong emotion and fighting spirit of the youth at that time. Where is the freedom and ideals at a time when society's expectations. Youth as a component of the nation became the spearhead of the struggle for the life of a better nation, that is independence.

Proper that we who live in the present, especially the youth, making the event "Youth Pledge" as the main motivation in building the nation and themselves. Do we just think only for yourself while the interests of the state neglected.

It's hard to live without the shadow state, let us see and feel how the people in Palestine and Pakistan are willing to die for his country's sovereignty, in the hope they can live peacefully without any repressive actions of other parties.

Time for us to nurture our sense of nationalism with the "Confessing one landless water, one nation and one language, namely the Indonesian people".
